18 Dec 2012: Update of historical 30-year average agro-climatic potential yields of period 1961 to 2000. This update followed the revision of individual year historical time series yield estimates.
16 Dec 2012: Update of historical time series of agro-climatic potential yields for years 1961 to 2000. This update was implemented due to revising the method of yield-reducing agro-climatic constraint factors to yields simulated for individual years.
15 Dec 2012: Adding a new map of Agro-ecological Zonation: The Global Agro-ecological Zonation comprises an inventory of bio-physical resources relevant to agricultural production systems. The inventory provides combinations of moisture regimes and soil qualities relevant to rain-fed agriculture, irrigated soils, hydromorphic soils and land areas that are either cold, desert or consist of steep terrain slopes.
