Guest Research Assistant Integrated Assessment and Climate Change Research Group - Energy, Climate, and Environment Program
Jinxiao Tan is a guest research assistant jointly associated with the Integrated Assessment and Climate Change and Sustainable Service Systems Research Groups of the IIASA Energy, Climate, and Environment (ECE) Program. She is also a member of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in China.
Tan has some research experience in the field of energy economics and environmental policy and her research interests focus on the sustainable development of the transport sector, energy system modeling, and application. Her current research includes the impact of residents' behavior on the transport sector and transport pathways to carbon neutrality. She participated in the research and development of the National Energy Technology (C3IAM/NET) model and successfully applied it to the freight transport sector. Tan also participated in the research and development of the Global Energy and Environmental Policy Analysis (C3IAM/GEEPA) Model.
