Guest Research Assistant Sustainable Service Systems Research Group - Energy, Climate, and Environment Program
Shu Zhang is a guest research assistant jointly associated with the Integrated Assessment and Climate Change (IACC) and Sustainable Service Systems (S3) research groups of the IIASA Energy, Climate, and Environment (ECE) Program, and a PhD candidate at Tsinghua University in China.
His research interests include energy system modeling, policy assessment for energy, climate, and environmental issues. He is currently in charge of the update and maintenance of the China TIMES model, which is being applied in China's energy transition towards carbon neutrality. At IIASA, his main work is to model the energy-land-water nexus, and power supply and demand with high temporal resolution.
