Third Laxenburg Climate and Energy Day: Focus on transportation

For the third time, IIASA will co-host a public event focused on climate and energy choices, in cooperation with the Laxenburg community.

As a "Climate Alliance" community in Austria, the community of Laxenburg strives to raise awareness about environmental issues and smart choices to reduce. For the third time this May, IIASA is hosting the annual Climate and Energy Day in Laxenburg. 

This year's event is focused on environmentally friendly mobility. The evening will include activities for children of all ages, as well as a presentation about transportation impacts on climate change by IIASA researcher Jens Borken-Kleefeld. Bettina Urbanek, from the Verkehrscklub Oesterreich (VCOe) will speak about transportation choices that are good for air quality and the climate.
