Widespread innovation is happening both in Africa and in Europe, where creative start‑ups are providing solutions for different emerging challenges. This forum is an opportunity to showcase them and to learn from each other. Entrepreneurs and innovators from both continents will have the opportunity to network and discuss their concepts and solutions for the digital age.
IIASA Director General and CEO Albert van Jaarsveld will attend the High-Level Forum and participate in a side event on 18 December focusing on “Austrian-African cooperation initiative in Higher Education and Research”, organized by the BMBWF.
