Welcome to IIASA's New Website

Launched on 3rd September 2012, IIASA's new website offers new content and new functionality in a clean design to help you find the information you need.

At the top of every page to help you find the information that you are looking for is:

  • A powerful search that looks for your search term across the website and IIASA's events, publications and staff databases.
  • An "I'd like to..." drop down box of shortcuts to commonly visited pages.
  • An intuitive navigation that quickly takes you deep into the website.

IIASA National Members

IIASA is funded and governed by its National Member Organizations (NMOs)—often highly prestigious scientific organizations such as the country's national academy or premier research funding agency. More

Governance and leadership

IIASA is governed by a Council which includes one representative of each of IIASA's member countries. Reporting to the governing Council, the Director General and Deputy Director General for Science lead and manage the activities of the Institute. More

Achievements

IIASA research has helped policymakers work towards sustainable, equitable solutions to global problems since the institute was founded. Alongside the impacts of the science, IIASA researchers have been recognized for their individual contributions, in the form of numerous awards and prizes. More

Coming Soon

Over the coming months, a new section "Research by Region" will be added to allow you to find research relevant to a country or continent. In addition, the research partner section will be expanded to cover many of the 300 organizations that IIASA works with around the globe.
