The book, published by Oxford University Press in August 2014, is a massive volume with 1,056 pages, including projection results for all countries in the world by age, sex, and level of education. It is probably the most comprehensive assessment of the global state of knowledge about future population and human capital trends ever published [1].
World Population and Human Capital in the 21st Century was presented to the global development and NGO community and to the media on 23 October 2014 at the Wilson Center, in Washington DC, USA, and to the scientific community on 3 November 2014 at the Oxford Martin School, UK.
A 60-page executive summary [2] was also widely disseminated.
The Wittgenstein Centre Data Explorer allows users to browse, select, visualize, and download the assumptions and results of these new global population projections.
