Policy relevance in 2013

The ENE Program interacted with key stakeholders from government and civil society, providing policy guidance and strategic advice to decision makers in various international settings.

Major policy-relevant activities and scientific policy advice in 2013 included:

  • The 2013 GAP report of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP);
  • The UN Secretary General’s Initiative Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL);
  • Contributions to the Summary for Policy Makers of the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, Working Group I);
  • Contributions to the Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project (DDPP) of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).

UNEP Emissions GAP Report 2013
