Qi Liu is a PhD student from Sichuan University, China, with a major in management science and engineering. She is a visiting research scholar with the Exploratory Modeling of Human-natural Systems (EM) Research Group within the IIASA Advancing Systems Analysis (ASA) Program. Her main research interests include dynamic global poverty analysis, multi-objective intelligent optimization, system dynamics models, policy assessment through the FeliX (Full of Economic-Environment Linkages and Integration dX/dt)- a global Impact Assessment Model. Currently, at IIASA, Ms. Liu is developing a poverty module for the FeliX, and is exploring the impacts of various strategies on poverty and the environment.
