The YSSP Fund — supporting visionary young scientists

The Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) is central to the IIASA mission. It cultivates individual expertise, fosters cooperation, and builds global networks.

Young researchers from more than 50 countries have participated in the program since its beginnings in 1977. Many of them received financial support from the YSSP Fund, which relies on donations from the IIASA community.

The Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) creates a common platform for young talented scientists, who get the opportunity to work together to solve problems of global importance, above regional and political disputes. With your support, we will be able to invite more outstanding applicants, often from developing countries to join this dialogue and lead the change in their local communities, equipped with robust research tools and new problem-solving skills.
