IIASA National Members

IIASA is funded and governed by its National Member Organizations (NMOs)—often highly prestigious scientific organizations such as the country's national academy or premier research funding agency.

Each IIASA member country has a National Member Organization (NMO) that represents its scholarly community and acts as a bridge to link their research and policy communities to IIASA. As well as funding the institute, each NMO nominates one representative to the IIASA Council.
