Guest lecture on China's Economy and Uncertainty

Weilin Zhao (Fujitsu Research Institute, Tokyo, Japan) visited ASA, IIASA on 22 April, 2014 and gave a lecture on China's economy and uncertainty. 


Weilin Zhao is a Senior Researcher at Fujitsu Research Institute (FRI, Tokyo, Japan). She received her Bachelor's degree in management from Dalian Maritime University in 2002. She then worked as a systems engineer in Tokyo for two and a half years, taking charge of software development and outsourcing from Japan to China. She completed her Master's degree and PhD at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008. Before she joined FRI, Dr. Zhao worked as a research associate at the Research Centre of Waseda Business School (Waseda University, Tokyo). Her research interests include management of technology, network theory and cluster innovation mechanism, industry competitiveness, economic growth and sustainability.
