Workshop on Advances in Forest Management and Forest Protection

IIASA's ESM program in collaboration with the Russian Institute of Continuous Education in Forestry will organize the second workshop on Advances in Forest management and Forest Protection.

IIASA's ESM program is arranging a 5-day workshop for a group of high level forest managers from different regions in Russia along with forestry experts at IIASA and a number of Austrian organizations including: the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, the Austrian Federal Forest Service, the Forestry Agency of the city of Vienna, the University of life sciences Vienna, and the Private forest owners association Waldverband Steiermark. The workshop will consist of four days of visits and field trips which will then summarized in a meeting at IIASA Raiffa room October 3rd.
