Special Report on 1.5°C second lead author meeting

The second Lead Author Meeting involve scientitsts from more than 40 countries who are convening to write this special report, due to be completed in early 2018.

Keywan Riahi and Joeri Rogelj of the IIASA Energy Program are attending as part of the core author team writing the next key international climate science report. As coordinating and lead authors of the Special Report on 1.5°C of Warming which is currently being prepared by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Rogelj is coordinating the assessment of pathways towards limiting warming to 1.5°C, and Riahi is leading the assessment of how climate and sustainable development goals interact.
