Risk and Resilience researcher, Nadejda Komendantova, has been invited to speak on 'Participatory governance as a tool to improve transparency', which is part of a series of workshops at the annual general meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe

Speaking in light of her recent experiences in Jordan, the talk will include insights from the innovative participatory processes developed in the frame of the MENA-SELECT project. Komendantova will also include a review of methods employed in eliciting stakeholder engagement, building on research carried out in Europe (Austria, Germany, Belgium and the UK) for the projects LINKS and BESTGRID.

Komendantova will be speaking on the second day of a two-day program, which will be focused, among other things, on migration-related challenges in the OSCE area and beyond.
