Under the title "Capturing the Demographic Dividend in Pakistan" the Population Council, Pakistan in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Pakistan have published a book with contributions from IIASA scientists Wolfgang Lutz and Anne Goujon. In Chapter three, the authors discuss education and population as closely linked trajectories for Pakistan.
The book is now presented to the public in launches and panel discussions in the cities of Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore. Among the discussants are World Population Program leader Wolfgang Lutz and the well known demographer John Bongaarts who will join in by video.
