EU Air Policy Review

As an input for the negotiations on the revision of the EU Thematic Strategy on Air Pollution, IIASA has again prepared a further set of reports that analyze the cost-effective scope for further air quality improvements in Europe.

At the 5th Stakeholder Expert Group meeting in Brussels (April 3, 2013), IIASA presented background reports which describe the methodology developed to assess the effect of future emission control scenarios on compliance with air quality limit values at the local level, and present a series of optimisation calculations to illustrate the analysis of the cost-effectiveness of further control measures.
