Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh, 2004 YSSP

Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh, 2004 YSSP

Prof. Vasudeva joined the Carlson School of Management in 2007, prior to which she worked at the Indian School of Business. Her doctoral thesis on how national institutions shape firms' approaches to technological innovation and knowledge transfers won the best dissertation awards from the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business. Her research resides at the intersection of strategy and organization theory and advances the idea that firms’ knowledge flows and innovation outcomes depend on dual considerations: managing cooperative arrangements that result in alliances and networks for knowledge flows, and devising strategies to cope with the institutional environment within which these knowledge exchanges and learning occurs.

Regarding her YSSP experience, she states that the, "YSSP instilled in me the confidence to pursue the research that I started as a graduate student. It helped foster an incredible community of scholars engaged in cutting-edge issues of global significance."
