Climate Change 2013/2014: Fifth Assessment Report

IIASA scientists and council members are major contributors to the three working groups of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report (AR5).

The IPCC 5th Assessment Report (AR5) is being released in 2013 and 2014. It is a comprehensive assessment of the current state of climate science. As the previous reports, it is split up into three working groups that focus on the physical science of climate change (Working Group I), impacts adaptation, and vulnerability (Working Group II), and mitigation (Working Group III). 

IIASA research feeds into all three parts of the report, but in particular, IIASA researchers  are major contributors to Working Groups II and III of the IPCC's 5th Assessment Report, which will  be released in March and April 2014.
