Users can now explore the Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital (IIASA, VID/ÖAW, WU) population projections with a focus on the progress in female education. The data illustrate that investments in human capital, especially (female) education, are critical for global sustainable development and better lives of future generations. They also show how alternative policies of education expansion in the near-term can significantly influence the medium- to long-term future paths of population growth for individual countries and the world as a whole.
