From 8-9 August 2019 the City of Uusikaupunki, Turku University and IIASA co-organized a scientific symposium that focused on population, peace and well-being on the occasion of the 300 year anniversary of the Nystad Peace in 1721. On the first day of the symposium, Wolfgang Lutz gave a short talk during the opening (from 14:00), and Sergei Scherbov gave a presentation entitled "A new look on population aging" (from 2:04:30).
