Sergei Scherbov describes in short how to rethink age and aging, explains the concepts of prospective age, prospective old age dependency ratio and prospective mean age, and illustrates the importance of these new measures for public policies.
The interview was conducted at the Center for Demographic, Urban and Environmental Studies at the El Colegio de México in the course of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
Sergei Scherbov was invited to present the concept of "New Measures of Age and Aging" in the series of "Conferencias Magnas" where he was the second key note speaker.
