The system sciences are evolving, spurred by the tremendous advances in digitalization. New concepts and methods are increasing the power of integrated approaches and enhancing expertise in ground-breaking mathematical modeling techniques, complexity theory, dynamic systems, optimization methods, game theory, agent-based modeling, multi-state demographic projections, artificial intelligence, and big data among other fields. This session will bring together a panel of researchers to present the current state and future directions in research methods for systems analysis.
