GEA West Coast Launch Conference

The Precourt Institute for Energy hosted a major conference at Stanford University, as part of the global campaign to launch the Global Energy Assessment (GEA) report.

Leading researchers, national and international policy makers, managers, advocates in areas of energy, technology, investment, economic development, international aid, and integrated assessment will gather together to review their findings.  A comprehensive strategy will be presented for poverty eradication, climate change mitigation, health, energy security, and energy access.  GEA research aims to facilitate equitable and sustainable energy services for all, in particular the two billion people who currently lack access to clean, modern energy.
