Dilip Khatiwada presented BeWhere Brazil, where ethanol production plants are upgraded to second generation production plants using sugar cane trash and bagasse, increasing the ethanol production significantly without interfering on the land activity. [See poster]
Joakim Lundgren, on behalf of Elisabeth Wetterlund, presented BeWhere Sweden. The model determines the industries that can be upgraded for second generation production of biofuel. [See poster]
Sylvain Leduc presented BeWhere Europe, and how the model can be used as a policy tool for either increasing the production of biofuel or deceasing the emissions of greenhouse gases. [See poster]
A multimedia area was also dedicated for BeWhere, where a movie was shown and gave an overview of the model.
