International Conference Green Days 2019: Unlocking Green Growth Potential (UGGP) is an opportunity where it is focusing more on bringing businesses and governments to acknowledge the Climate change in this planet, then talking about investment and working on building a greener future by amplifying the importance of integrating economic and environmental policies. Then it can always help in a way to open up the opportunities to new ways of economic growth.


IIASA Acting Deputy Director General and CEO, Nebojsa Nakicenovic will present, with Branka Zizic, Piotr Szymanski, Erich Hoedl, Ivana Strahinic, and Tatevik Koloyan, in the Plenary Session 3 on Fostering Innovation for Green Growth. The presentation is about how innovations in science and technology innovations have been improving the quality of people by contributing to economic growth and job creation. However, we should also focus on utilizing all the advances in contemporary science, technical innovation, and new technologies to achieve much greener economic development.


The International Conference Green Days 2019 is hosted in Podgorica, Montenegro, organized by the Government of Montenegro, the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) from Jun 5-6. During the event, each panel will be talking about their case study by each sector, topics, principles, or policies in the concept of a green economy and how important a green economy is at integrating economic and environmental policies.
